I’ve been working with some dark clay. I’ve found a very nice smooth cone 6 clay at Clay Art in Seattle. It nice to work with, but hard to find glazes that work with it. Most pick up the iron in the clay and become quite dark. This glaze, that I call Karen’s Lavender, still retains some it’s purple/pink character where it is thicker. And I’m hoping using white clay for the buttons will help brighten the pots.
